Once an order is placed customers are deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions. This agreement together with the standard terms and conditions of the website constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Hopcrop Ltd with respect to the use of the website.
A contract is formed between us when (and not before) we dispatch your order. The order will not be accepted until we receive payment.
Contract Cancellation under distance selling regulations
Due to the quick turnaround of orders we may not be able to amend an order once it has been placed. Customers must ensure they check their order carefully before submitting it for payment.
Please note that you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish provided that you exercise your right and notify us no longer than 7 working days after the day on which you receive the Products.
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract we will refund the original purchase price and delivery charge, provided that you have notified us in writing no longer than 7 working days after the day on which you receive the Products, and that you have taken reasonable care of the Products and not used them. Please see below in relation to Returns and Refunds.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Orders placed on-line are an offer to purchase made by you and may be accepted by us subject to availability. You must be 18 or over to order from us. We endeavour to display all items in our current internet range.
A series of basic on-line steps is required to create a contract between you and us:
- You confirm your order for products on our website by pressing the confirm order button at checkout process.
- You will receive an order acknowledgement detailing the item/s you have ordered provided the email address we hold for you has been entered correctly. If the email address is wrong you will not receive an email. (This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from us)
- When your order is shipped from our warehouse we will send you a despatch confirmation email.
- Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and Hopcrop Ltd will take place on the dispatch to you of the products ordered from ourselves unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions given for contract cancellation.
- Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered.
- If due to technical errors in pricing and/or details incorrectly shown on our website, inability to gain authorisation on your payment or your product being unavailable from stock, we reserve the right not to accept orders.
Shipping & Delivery
Items out of Stock
Usually, everything displayed on our site is in stock is present in our warehouse and available for immediate dispatch.
If any items ordered are not readily available to us, we reserve the right to cancel your order. We will refund in full any payment the customer has made for the item(s). Other items ordered by the customer will be dispatched in the normal way. In the unlikely case of this happening we undertake to notify the customer at the earliest opportunity.
We endeavour to ensure all orders are delivered within the chosen delivery time periods, however if an item is not delivered within the given time-scales please get in contact with us and we will do all we can to track your parcel down and give you an update.
We use Royal Mail and other third party courier services for our deliveries therefore we cannot be held responsible for a package not reaching its destination on time as delivery is the responsibility of a third party courier.
We suggest to customers to place orders well in advance to allow for unforeseen delays.
Upon delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to check the contents of their packages and inform us of any discrepancies at the earliest opportunity.
Returns & Refunds
If you receive a delivery and the item is damaged please refuse the delivery and notify us within 24 hours. Where the damage is not noticeable until you open your parcel then you must notify us within 48 hours.
Please check all contents on receipt of your order. We are unable to accept a claim for missing items unless we are notified within 48 hours of an order being received.
In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item you may return this item to us in accordance with your statutory rights. This item will be inspected and if deemed faulty we will issue a replacement, repair or refund. We will cover the return postage costs of this faulty item.
If an item is not deemed faulty following inspection, then we are unable to offer a replacement or refund. In such cases we will contact the customer by email to detail the reasons and offer an explanation. In such cases the item will be shipped back to the customer, at the customer’s expense. We reserve the right to dispose of any items where no faults have been identified, but the customer hasn’t paid the return postage within 60 days of being notified.
You may return any unwanted items within 28 days of receipt of that item.
We will only accept a return of an item if
- It has been unused and is in its original condition.
- The item is returned in protective packaging and so it is not damaged on return and the customer is responsible for the return postage costs.
If the item is damaged then we reserve the right to refund less than the price paid for that item.
If an item does not meet the above criteria, then we will be unable to offer a refund. A full reason will be given to the customer as to why the product doesn’t meet the returns criteria. We are happy to re-ship such items back to the customer at the customer’s cost.
Please allow up to 14 working days for refunds and replacements to be processed.
We will aim to process all returns as quickly as possible. All refunds will be made to the card or PayPal account used at the time of placing the order.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order with the following exception:
- While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of re confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. Therefore we cannot confirm the price of a Product until your order is accepted in accordance with our Order acceptance terms. If we are unable to contact you within 48 hours we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
- If the on-line price of the goods is reduced after you have placed your order, but before you have received the goods, we will happily honour this price reduction. Please contact us.
The ownership of any products you order on this website shall pass to you on delivery of the products provided that we have processed and received payment in full for the products.
All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT at the current rate, where applicable. Prices exclude delivery charges, unless expressly stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices if there is a change to the rate of VAT and we will endeavour to ensure that prices are correctly shown.
Orders from outside the UK or EU may be subject to import duties and taxes. All applicable duties, fees and any additional charges for customs clearance levied by the importing country at the time the shipment arrives in your country are your sole responsibility.
